Avoid Single Circuit Thinking

You are part of the whole universe, not separate

Our mental and moral qualities make up our character and a combination of these characteristics is what makes up our individual personalities. When we talk about “I did this or I did that” we are describing a spiritual action either physically or mentally that we have done. “I” went to the store would be a physical action. “I’ve” made the decision not to complain about my aching back anymore is a mental spiritual action.  But in using the word “I”, it does not truly refer to who we are, although the English language would make you think so.

Most of us do think of “I” as who we are, but by looking at it this way, we are separating ourselves from the whole universe, when in fact we are all connected to it.  Once we understand the true meaning of the word “I” then we are no longer separating ourselves from the Universal power and our energetic power becomes even greater. Knowing you are part of the whole picture, instead of being separated off into left field, is the whole key to understanding The Universal Power that you have within you. Think of it this way, you are connected to everything as one big piece, so your actions affects everyone and everything and not just your part of it, although we often don’t see this until we’ve had a bad outcome. When we think selfish thoughts, we are dealing with an immature mind by separating ourselves from everything else and we have all been guilty of this at one time or another. This lessens our spiritual power though when we do this, which is why we want to stay away from it as much as possible. That is why little kids have trouble sharing, they have not matured enough to know that they are part of the whole universal energy and not separate from it, so they only focus on themselves.  The true signs of maturity is when you think in a way that is mutually beneficial to someone other than just yourself.  Sometimes we busy our minds so much with our own selfish thoughts and block everything and everyone else out, including positive attraction. When you do this, you are not in harmony with the Universe and it cannot add its energy to your energy, which then brings things into motion, because you have just separated yourself, thus lessening your power.

Having said all of that, this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t focus on what you want in life, or have the desires and dreams that you have, it simply means you don’t need to screw somebody else over and act in a dishonest or unethical way to get what you want. It actually comes faster and better when your action is positive with anyone you deal with and where everyone involved has a favorable outcome. If you put two energies together and make it one big energy source, it is much stronger than if you separate it off as a single circuit that is less powerful and science actually teaches us that about energy. Think about it, you have power lines and then you have a power plant. There is much more power coming from the actual power plant and the lines are simply an outlet of that power. You and I are single power lines, the Universal energy is the power plant where the power is stored.  Selfish ideas are separate from all else, because you are only thinking as one part of something, which is yourself. Don’t be a single circuit thinker, put your power at its greatest by connecting with the whole Universal energy and the way to do this is to steer away from selfish thinking.  I want to emphasize again, that selfish thinking does not mean you can’t pursue getting rich, becoming famous, wanting that big house in the mountains or whatever, selfishness is when you go after something that could benefit only you and doing this with the intention or knowingly hurting someone else. Capiche?

Universal energy expresses itself and its power through us. And it seeks to find the energy that is the most positive, the most beneficial and is shining the brightest. We are the outlets for which the Universal energy expresses itself.  It has no favoritism when it chooses the outlet through which it wants to express itself, it automatically seeks the brightest and strongest energy outlet to plug into. This is an unbiased Universal law. It has no other way of finding you, other than picking up on your vibrational energy. We speak to the Universe, by going within ourselves and making our vibrational energy positive and strong.

A person who comes to mind that used this to his benefit is the American Idol performer William Hung. A lot of people know William Hung for his performance on American Idol in 2004, where he very enthusiastically performed She Bangs by Latino singer Ricky Martin and was completely oblivious to Simon Cowell’s sarcastic remarks or the fact that the audience was laughing at him. William Hung could not sing and he did not have the usual glamorous or attractive looks that most pop stars need in order to be successful. But he didn’t care… he sang it anyway with as much enthusiasm as any professional performer.  In his mind, he was a singer and the life of the party, he thoroughly believed he was bringing joy to the audience that was listening to him sing as well.  Well he wasn’t wrong about that, because he did in fact bring a lot of joy to the audience that day watching it on their TVs and because of it, gained a large fan base and his popularity soared.  He was a winner as far as the American public was concerned and his energy had shone through. At one point he was actually offered a record contract and did some touring. Despite the criticism that his performances and records received, William Hung was completely unaffected by it and thoroughly enjoyed his success. Why? Because his positive thinking overcame all else and he actually manifested the opportunity for himself to be a professional singer, despite all odds and the Universe found him.

Your body is just a house, and your spiritual energy lives there. Spiritual energy is what drives life and manifests the conditions in which we live. Your body cannot function or move until your spiritual energy tells it to. Taking time out to quiet the mind is key in getting the spiritual energy to ramp up to creative mode. The expression “still waters run deep” did not just come out of anywhere, that statement has a real point to it. Have you ever watched somebody wear themselves out physically while trying to accomplish something, but they never slow down long enough to get their mind in the right place to actually get something done? Boy I sure have… I have a few friends that are this way. It’s like watching a gerbil run desperately in a wheel, he never really goes anywhere, even though he may think he is. Running around looking busy is a short term solution to make us feel better about our current situation. However, we overlook how important it is to focus the mind as well as our body and by doing this we delay our accomplishments, sometimes indefinitely. We keep working at things without thinking it through and getting our head set correct because it makes us feel like we are accomplishing something, but nothing ever really changes. This is what I am talking about. Learn to quiet the mind every day so that you can regain control of your thoughts and direct them in the best possible way that works for you. When your thoughts are in order, then your physical self follows through in the right way and that is when you will start to accomplish your goals.

I was born and raised mostly in Minnesota, the youngest of 5 girls. I never went onto college as my sisters did, because the only two things I had ever wanted to do was work with horses or pursue music and I figured I would not need a conventional education for either of those. I chose to pursue a career in horse training three days after graduating from high school and did this for many years. Horribly misguided by others I met along the way, I eventually became disillusioned with the horse industry and it's lack of respect for the horses, so I moved on from that and I never looked back. I then went into music, which was my second love and was an aspiring singer/songwriter part time for another 10 years while I worked administrative jobs on the side. This also went to the wayside when it did not take me where I wanted to go. These days I am married and currently live in Colorado with my husband, two dogs and a horse. In looking back on my life I could never understand why I would get so close to reaching my dreams and goals, but then watch them slip away as easily as they had come. As a young horse trainer starting out, I had two very good opportunities to work for a woman who was former world champion rodeo star and also for a close relative of another rodeo star, who had been a world champion many times over. I rejected both of these opportunities early on, but with great regret later, because my head was not in the right place to accept them. Even though I had manifested both opportunities during that time and without realizing what I was doing, was unable to keep them. The same thing happened in the music industry. I had the experience of recording demos in both Austin Texas and Nashville at separate times, and I was given the opportunity to be represented by a few producers in Nashville as well, both eventually going nowhere. These hit and miss opportunities that never really got off the ground, soon became an up and down journey that I went through for several years, until I started studying Universal laws of manifestation. Early on, the first book my cousin had handed me about negative and positive attraction was indeed inspiring, but telling someone to simply think positively is not going to leave a lasting impression, so I fell back into my old ways of finding opportunity and losing opportunity. Years later, I eventually moved onto another book and things went a little deeper, but I was still not quite “getting it” because I had so many questions and felt things were missing in the authors explanation of how this all works. I eventually found The Master Key System written by Charles Haanel and that's when things really came together for me. His explanation of why Universal and Natural Laws of Attraction work by bringing science and spirituality together, instead of separating them as we have been taught, really made a lot of sense to me. All of my questions were answered and the holes were filled in. It was the connection of science and spirituality that made this book a little different than the others. Nothing I had read, had gone quite that deep before. I started to use The Master Key System and saw that opportunities were coming to me a lot more easily than in the past and I was able to keep them. In using these principles, I launched my first successful small business when I was well into my 40’s, as an equine massage therapist and at a time when I thought that I was going to be stuck working mindless admin jobs for the rest of my life. It was amazing how it brought me full circle into working with horses again. I have continued to use The Master Key Principles for every part of my life, both physically and mentally. I am a lifetime, work in progress student and a true believer of these wonderful methods.
