Point A For Manifesting A Goal

The starting point of The Narrows

Some people are really lost on how to manifest successfully and I feel for them. They try desperately to manifest something positive in their lives and become quite frustrated when it doesn’t make an about face turn immediately in their favor. Some have gotten downright angry and believe they have done everything right and the universe is working against them. They entertain one mere positive thought or work towards a goal for a short period of time and are looking for overnight results. Sometimes you will see things happen quickly, but not always.

If you are trying to manifest owning a million dollar home by next week and you are working a minimum wage job, that’s probably not going to happen next week. Can you live in a million dollar home if you want too? Sure you can, but it’s not going to happen next week. So you better have a grasp on the amount of manifesting it will take to get there, depending on your starting point. It will require a lot of positive thinking, inspired action and belief system to get there and time.  In today’s post, we are going to talk about that in further depth, so hopefully you can gain a better understanding of how to measure the manifestation, visualization and time you would need, to bring something into reality for you.

Everyone has a starting point, and our starting points are all going to be different, based on what we are trying to manifest. We may all be starting from point A. to achieve something, but your point A is going to be different than my point A.  And the starting point that we are at, depends on the current conditions in our lives. You have to believe the very thing you are trying to manifest. If you can’t believe yourself that you can own a million dollar home by next week, then Universal Law won’t believe it either. It connects to your energetic vibe. And I want to point out, if you can’t believe it, then you are not being realistic about what the current conditions in your life are and how they relate to what you are trying to manifest.

Here is an example:

Take two people for instance, one is trying to manifest a promotion, from the company he has worked for over the past 20 years. Another person lives in a war torn and oppressed society and wants freedom to live somewhere else. Do you think that their point A’s will be the same? Obviously not, the 2nd person’s point A is much further back in the race than the first person’s is. He will have to run harder and faster to get what he wants.  It will also take him more time to get to the end of the race. The person who wants the promotion would require less focused manifestation and less time to get what he wants done, because getting a promotion after being with a company for 20 years is not that far out of reach at all. His individual circumstances are better to manifest his goals, but the 2nd person who is living in an atmosphere of negativity, evil and wrong thinking, who is surrounded by it day in and day out, is going to have to work that much harder to manifest the life he desires. This is where the old saying “the higher the mountain, the more you have to climb to get there” comes in.

You have to be realistic about what you can manifest in a short period of time and what is going to take a lot more focus, creative intention and a longer period of time. It all boils down to belief, positive endurance and paying attention to the affirmations you will get along the way, as well.  Too many times people give up, even as small affirmations that you are getting somewhere, are showing up in their lives. Those affirmations are a confirmation that you are on the right path. And those affirmations no matter how small, are the fuel that keeps the fire burning and helps you to keep going after your dreams and goals, especially for the ones that are going to require more time. It took 6 months for me to manifest and bring about the right conditions for my own small business to take off. I had several No’s starting out, but it only took one Yes from someone, for my whole career to take off.  How did I hang in there for so long? Because I watched for the positive affirmations that were showing up in my life, while I was waiting. This enhanced my belief and I knew success was coming…. I just patiently waited.

It would have been really easy for me to become intimidated or frustrated when I first began my small equine massage therapy business. When I was offering the first therapy session free to the client, I noticed that there was not much appreciation from the client. They had only taken the free session, because it was free. It didn’t shake my confidence though, because my affirmation was the horse’s response, not the owner’s. You see horses cannot lie, they act on pure instinct, so they always tell the truth. I would see them yawn, and stretch and hang their tongue out of their mouth. I would feel the muscles release under my hands, and watch the head start to hang down low and the lower lip would quiver. I saw all of the signs that I was trained to see and knew the therapy was helping, even if the owner didn’t. It was just a matter of finding the right client who also saw these affirmations of my good work and for things to take off.  Many of those clients did not have much horse experience outside of their own horses, so they didn’t know what they were looking at, but I did. When we build faith in Universal Law and know that manifesting reality is very real, we see the affirmations being sent to us, even if someone else doesn’t. That is all you need to know. It’s your belief that counts, not someone else’s.

When working towards a goal, take a step back and be realistic about where your starting point is at. Handle it the same way a long distance runner or a bicyclist biking the Tour De France would have to, in order to finish the race. Pace yourself, know the distance, be prepared for it.  This way you won’t wind up disappointed and thinking that it’s a flaw in the Master Key System, if your wish to become the next rock star doesn’t happen tomorrow. Know how much manifestation and visualization it will take to create what you want and know this by seeing where your starting point realistically is for the object of your desire.  This isn’t voo doo magic, it takes time as you hold your belief for things to align in your favor, just know that they are aligning.

When you get a good measure of this, you will prepare yourself mentally to apply positive thinking and laws of attraction to get there. Don’t forget to open your eyes to the affirmation signs that will be sent to you as you are manifesting. Remember, you won’t see what you aren’t looking for.

I was born and raised mostly in Minnesota, the youngest of 5 girls. I never went onto college as my sisters did, because the only two things I had ever wanted to do was work with horses or pursue music and I figured I would not need a conventional education for either of those. I chose to pursue a career in horse training three days after graduating from high school and did this for many years. Horribly misguided by others I met along the way, I eventually became disillusioned with the horse industry and it's lack of respect for the horses, so I moved on from that and I never looked back. I then went into music, which was my second love and was an aspiring singer/songwriter part time for another 10 years while I worked administrative jobs on the side. This also went to the wayside when it did not take me where I wanted to go. These days I am married and currently live in Colorado with my husband, two dogs and a horse. In looking back on my life I could never understand why I would get so close to reaching my dreams and goals, but then watch them slip away as easily as they had come. As a young horse trainer starting out, I had two very good opportunities to work for a woman who was former world champion rodeo star and also for a close relative of another rodeo star, who had been a world champion many times over. I rejected both of these opportunities early on, but with great regret later, because my head was not in the right place to accept them. Even though I had manifested both opportunities during that time and without realizing what I was doing, was unable to keep them. The same thing happened in the music industry. I had the experience of recording demos in both Austin Texas and Nashville at separate times, and I was given the opportunity to be represented by a few producers in Nashville as well, both eventually going nowhere. These hit and miss opportunities that never really got off the ground, soon became an up and down journey that I went through for several years, until I started studying Universal laws of manifestation. Early on, the first book my cousin had handed me about negative and positive attraction was indeed inspiring, but telling someone to simply think positively is not going to leave a lasting impression, so I fell back into my old ways of finding opportunity and losing opportunity. Years later, I eventually moved onto another book and things went a little deeper, but I was still not quite “getting it” because I had so many questions and felt things were missing in the authors explanation of how this all works. I eventually found The Master Key System written by Charles Haanel and that's when things really came together for me. His explanation of why Universal and Natural Laws of Attraction work by bringing science and spirituality together, instead of separating them as we have been taught, really made a lot of sense to me. All of my questions were answered and the holes were filled in. It was the connection of science and spirituality that made this book a little different than the others. Nothing I had read, had gone quite that deep before. I started to use The Master Key System and saw that opportunities were coming to me a lot more easily than in the past and I was able to keep them. In using these principles, I launched my first successful small business when I was well into my 40’s, as an equine massage therapist and at a time when I thought that I was going to be stuck working mindless admin jobs for the rest of my life. It was amazing how it brought me full circle into working with horses again. I have continued to use The Master Key Principles for every part of my life, both physically and mentally. I am a lifetime, work in progress student and a true believer of these wonderful methods.
